Ember & Oak began with a simple wish: a quiet place to enjoy a great dram and a fine cigar, without the noise.

We opened Ember & Oak in 2019 because the city had plenty of loud rooms and very few quiet ones. We wanted a place to sit with a single malt, light a good cigar, and actually hear the person across the table.
So we built one. A deep Scotch library, a walk-in humidor a few steps away, low light and deep leather — and staff who'd rather teach than test. Whether it's your first dram or your five-hundredth, you're welcome by the ember.
